I really like jazz and soul, but I also love so many other types of music, and I didn't want to be afraid to blend and experiment. I love many genres of music, and have always listened to a variety of it. As a classically trained vocalist, I tend to use classical tones in my music, but I also have some Jazz tones. I studied Jazz briefly, and I love the voices of Ella Fitzgerald and Nina Simone. I think it's a beautiful thing to not be in just one lane, and be able to be versatile.
I always hope that my music can inspire someone, the same way other artists inspire me. God gave me a voice to sing with, and when you have that, what other gimmick is there? And I wanna sing, |
