I love singing. I love it, and it doesn't feel like a chore. It's an expression. Singing has always been my favorite way of self expression. It's so freeing. Whenever I'm having a tough day, I just sing and I feel relieved, refreshed, and at peace.
TLC recently released a song featuring Snoop Dogg titled "Way Back." The music video is cool, and gives you that cookout, family barbecue, kickback vibe! They make a good point about having their new music being played on Hip-Hop/R&B stations, instead of the "old school" stations. They're still making great music, and it deserves to be heard! Their new album is going to be released at the end of the month, on June 30th!
Power means happiness; power means hard work and sacrifice. If you're a songwriter, you definitely should watch this interview! It was so inspiring and eye opening. I knew The Dream was a good songwriter, but I didn't know he wrote sooo many hits that I love today! Lately, I've been spending quite a bit of time studying lyrics, and just try and understand the songwriter's though process, rhyme patterns, etc. Hearing the process directly form the songwriter is very inspiring.
If you really love music, people can tell if you love music. You have to just stick with it. Pursuing any dream could be difficult. No matter what you choose, you really have to stick with it if you want to see your hard work pay off. Patience is key.
