Performing live is the greatest high in the world. That's why I do what I do. " I really do feel at home when I am on the stage. There's a comfort there, there's an adrenaline rush, there's excitement, and there's passion. Performing should be about sharing with others.

This is an excerpt from the weekly devotional book, Three Minutes with God, by Pastor Jarvis Bailey. Running is only temporary. Eventually you will have to stop, and face what is really going on in your life. Also keep in mind, God sees all, and he is always there. So instead of running away, why not run to latch on to his unchanging hand...
When my time ends, I want people to say, 'Man her music made me smile; it just enlightened my life; it inspired me; it made me feel good every time.' "  I am the queen of over thinking things, worrying, and, stressing. But I have learned that over thinking and worrying really doesn't get you too far. Just more frustrated. I'm learning to go with the flow. Just do it! Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. " This is the third excerpt from the weekly devotional book, Three Minutes with God, by Pastor Jarvis Bailey. What makes you feel secure? Is it money? Is it family? Is it love? Is it having your own, house, car, clothes, etc.? With me, its truly trusting in the Lord. I know that his plan will always come to pass, and I just trust in it. I always stay positive and optimistic about everything.... because I am secure in the Lord.

Everyone has the option to serve or to not serve at all. I only know one God, and He is the only one I will every serve. Who will you serve?
I grew up in the church mostly. I would sing in choirs and praise teams! This is a photo of me in a church play that was presented for the congregation! Yes...I can act too ;)  |
